The Festival of Women's Ideas Into Action took place in Brisbane's Powerhouse on March 3 & 4 thanks to the support and hard work of many women. There were challenging and moving moments for participants as we collectively reflected on the past, envisaged the future and resourced ourselves to be more effective tools for change. A great diversity of women participated in the forum and women from community groups who are often silenced or ignored were given a central space to share their stories, concerns and hopes. We went from the Festival re-energized for the Rally and March the next day.
